COMPUDON provides a platform for students to showcase their expert skills using Microsoft Office tools, giving them an upper hand in today’s competitive academic and professional marketplace. Students from across all states of India are invited to compete for the title of
“India Champion”, who then will be proudly representing India at the
Worldwide Competition (WWC) to be held at Las Vegas, USA.
The official championship on Microsoft Office applications was launched in India in year 2011 as COMPUDON 2011, which gave the opportunity to students from India to show off their skills in MS Office and compete at the global level at the worldwide contest in August 2-4, 2011 in San Diego, USA.
Three students from 3 Delhi Schools won the trip to represent India at the worldwide contest. This year again, COMPUDON- Season II is your gateway for India’s top talent to showcase their skills in MS Office and win a trip to USA in August 2012.
ELIGIBILITY:
When participating in the Competition, participants must be students currently enrolled in an approved academic institution. To compete, students must be between the ages of 13 and 22 (as of June 15, 2012).
To participate, a student must submit a valid score on any of the following exam tracks:
- Microsoft Office Specialist – Word 2007
- Microsoft Office Specialist – Excel 2007
- Microsoft Office Specialist – PowerPoint 2007
- Microsoft Office Specialist – Word 2010
- Microsoft Office Specialist – Excel 2010
- Microsoft Office Specialist – PowerPoint 2010
Previous competition India Champions and runner ups are eligible to participate in the 2012 Competition in any exam EXCEPT for the exam version they previously participated in. For example, a 2011 India finalist on Microsoft 2007 Excel can compete in the 2012 Competition in Microsoft Excel 2010 track.
Participants must register their exam scores to confirm their participation either at the time of taking the exam (Academic Institute) or after taking the exam, through Certiport portal. Students who fail to less register their exam scores for competition through Certiport as above, their scores will not be considered for the competition.
